La decisione di avere un approccio minimale alla musica su Be A Light era di avere spazi per far decadere il riverbero ed è per questo che sono stati scelti tempi più lenti in questo album. Zwaremachine ha cercato di mantenere una forte attenzione ai suoni utilizzati e di far sì che i bassi di guida e le drum machine hard quantizzate fossero la parte principale di ogni traccia. Molte delle scelte sonore per la batteria e il sound design di synth erano anche un cenno ai pionieri dei primi anni '80 di EBM e musica elettronica, ma con un approccio più moderno per il mixaggio e il mastering. La traccia del titolo Be A Light è un buon esempio della sensazione ipnotica dell'album con un verso e quattro cori che guidano l'ascoltatore verso ocus sul messaggio. Questa traccia è anche una rara situazione di ottimismo lirico per il gruppo. La traccia è pensata per essere un canto o un mantra che tutti possiamo cantare insieme e condividere in un breve momento di calore in questo freddo mondo oscuro che si sta schiantando intorno a noi. Sia i testi che la musica hanno lo stesso valore nella composizione. La grafica di questa versione è molto speciale e una parte importante dell'atmosfera e del mondo che Zwaremachine ha creato. Il leader Mach Fox lo nutrì per gran parte dell'ispirazione lirica. L'album è una versione ripubblicata dell'album originale Be A Light, ma è stato potenziato da tracce extra e remix dell'acclamato produttore svedese Planktoon.

The decision to have a minimal approach to the music on Be A Light was about having spaces to let the reverb decay and that is why slower tempos on this album were chosen. Zwaremachine tried to maintain a tight focus on the sounds used and have driving bass-lines and hard quantized drum machines be the prominent part of each track. A lot of the sonic choices for drums and synth sound design were also a nod to the early ’80s pioneers of EBM and electronic music, but with a more modern approach for the mixing and mastering.
The title track Be A Light is a good example of the hypnotic feeling for the album with one verse and four choruses driving the listener to ocus on the message. This track is also a rare bit of lyrical optimism for the group. The track is meant to be a chant or mantra that we can all sing together and share a brief moment of warmth in this cold dark world that is crashing in around us. The lyrics and music both hold equal value in the composition.
The artwork on this release is very special and an important part of the vibe and world Zwaremachine have created. Leader Mach Fox fed off it for much of the lyrical inspiration. The album is a re-released version of the original Be A Light album but has been boosted by extra track and remixes by acclaimed Swedish producer Planktoon.
